ABOUT

Inspired by coastal villages and the natural world,  I work with preloved textiles, creating bespoke bags and homeware.

I scour vintage fairs and charity shops for beautiful fabrics to use in my designs and  linings.

Some fabrics are also hand dyed using foraged ingredients. This could be dahlias, dried from last autumn’s cutting garden, or galls gathered from an ancient oak.

I work with an ethos of sustainability. The textile industry is a major contributor of environmental pollution, denim in particular  is as a resource-heavy, environmentally damaging process. Giving these fabrics a second life  contributes to making a difference to the climate crisis and supports the slow fashion movement.

In my work I aim to show the beauty of preloved fabrics, giving them a second life and a story to tell.

Each piece has a distinctive style, is individually designed and lovingly hand crafted.
